I have a 1993 Chrysler Town and Country I am not going to be using for awhile. I can leave it at my work as long as I like. What I want to know is, what do I do about things like the gas going bad? It has already been parked for a few months. I just don't need it right now, but I haven't really been able to sell it for anyhting, and I hate to sell it because it is in excellent condition. In the last three years I have replaced shocks, struts, front pads and rotors, rear shoes and wheel cylinders, had it repainted because of bad paint from the factory (including chemically stripped to the metal), new radiator fan motor, new radiator, two new front tires and the back tires are excellent, and it goes on and on. The trans was replaced at the Chrysler dealer before I purchased it.
So I want to hang on to it for now, because my brother is going to need it in about a year. He lives in NYC right now and does not need a car, but is going to move somewhere else eventually. Please, if you answer my question, I would like some answers about how to prepare it for long term storage, not any questions about why not sell it or donate it or something like that. I am most concerned about the gas going bad and messing up stuff like the injectors. Thanks.
