This car is a hybrid. Why is it that after turning on the air conditioning in the morning the A/C works for about ten minutes then begins to blow hot air for the rest of the time until park for a long period again. Condenser fans works, compressor clutch works sometimes, blower motor works, sufficient refrigerant in.

If the refrigerant is correct and the compressor is working, chances are either you have a blend air door issue or the system could be freezing up (not cycling). When it is not working, you should have it checked with gauges to see if both the high and low sides are at an acceptable pressure. There could be a blockage, too.

Thanks you for your reply. Yes, I got someone to check it with the gauge when it is not working and both reading had accepted pressure.

If the pressures are okay, and it starts to heat up after a short time and stays hot. I would also consider checking that the blend door is workings as it sounds as if it is bleeding hot air into the cabin all the time.
