try resetting security system then get is scanned for codes.

We get this problem this time of year remote keyless entry gets used a lot more and the buttons get dammaged. Try removing the battery on your remote first. Go back to key until you get another remote(s). Turn the lock to unlock and hold it there one to two seconds to disarm the security system. Trunk lock will also disarm the security system if the drivers door key switch is not working.
