Engine will not start driving on the freeway and my car jerked?

I was driving on the freeway and my car jerked a little and cut off and won't start back up. what could be the problem?

Chances are the timing belt let go, how does the engine sound when cranking? can you upload a short video of the sound it makes? That way I can tell for sure if the timing belt is good or not, also please go over this video which goes over the easy stuff:
