My car is only 2 months old, and has started to make a creaking noise, that can almost be "felt" while turning and breaking. I have brought the car in, they replaced some plastic washer that they felt was cracked and it was supposed to be all set. It is still making the same sound! Help

Hi amyswede. Welcome to the forum. Take the car back and ask to take the mechanic on a test drive to be sure he is hearing the same noise you are. Noises that only occur during driving can be hard to find when they can't be reproduced on the hoist. One very helpful tool is called the "Chassis Ear". It is a set of six microphones that are clipped onto suspect parts, then you listen through headphones while driving. Switching between the microphones helps localize the source of the noise and moving them around will let you zero in on it. A lot of mechanics have never heard of this tool but it is often found in new car dealerships.

Noises? Every techs worse nightmare! ;0
Well your vehicle is pretty new andwhat I would recommend is that they pay close attention to the brake pads. If the noise is coming from the brake pad area then they need to remove the brake pads and clean the mounting area and lubricate the contact areas of the pads. There was also some issues with the lower control arms rear bushings but being a 2010 the upgraded nuts, bolts and rear bushings are already installed so what they may want to check is that they are all torqued down to spec. Keep me posted and let me know what happens.
