2003 Volvo XC90 engine overboost

I have a xc 90 with a code, po234 engine overboost,
how do I go about, fixing this?

Smoke test the intake system. You have a leak somewhere in the turbo system. Could be the plastic charge pipe hoses down to a split open vacuum hose that controls the turbos. You could also have a stuck closed turbo control valve or it can be plugged up also?
