hi, my Volvo crosscontry, 2.5 petrol turbo engine having problem of over heating,while i drive about 5 km, it couldn't access more than 60 km/h, and engine stops it self, it takes too much coolant,

SOUNDS LIKE THE ENGINE MAY HAVE A BLOWN HEADGASKET. I SUGGEST TO TAKE IT TO A SHOP TO HAVE A PRESSURE TEST PERFORMED FOR THE COOLING SYSTEM. THIS WAY YOU WILL KNOW FOR SURE IF THE GASKET IS BLOWN. THE ONLY OTHER OPTION WOULD BE TO REPLACE THE THERMOSTAT AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS. BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE IT MAY BE TOO LATE.
