2001 Volvo XC70 ANGLE GEAR LEAKING

2001 Volvo XC70 All Wheel Drive Automatic 110000 miles

I have been told that the angle gear is leaking and need to be replaced cost approx $2,400.-

A mechanic have told me that it can be sealed, a a much lover cost. Is this advisable ?

The angle gear can be resealed. I recommend you take it in to Volvo for this procedure since there is some modification that needs to be done to make this repair.
