Suspension problem
1999 Volvo XC70 All Wheel Drive Automatic 175000 miles

car has failed or inoperable rear shocks ( lots of bounce) , car appears to have some type of air shock,
can the shock on the car be replaced with the conventional type of shock at considerably less cost?

We just bought the car and it does not say anywhere that it has the self leveling suspension.

Thanks for any help.
