2005 Volvo V70 Front Wheel Drive Manual 75000 miles

Hi, I have a 05 volvo v70 but the stereo has no power and also the cigar lighter aswell. I have checked the fuses and they are ok and I have checked the stereo and it works if I power it directly. Has any one got any ideas?

Where did you check the fuses at? When you open the drivers door on the side of the dash is a cover. Remove fuse #10 (20A) and #11 (30A) and inspect to see if they are ok. That is for the audio system. For the 12 volt sockets, remove the drivers side sound proof panel. 2 screws holding it and look right under there will be more fuses. Remove and inspect fuse #11 (15A) to see if it is ok. If you do not have your owners manuel I would encourage you to go to this website.
