My battery was dead. It will jump enough to turn on lights but won't start...just made a clicking sound. Do I just need a new battery...or could it be something more?

Where are you jump starting the car from? The positive cable in the engine compartment or the battery in the trunk? You should remove the battery and take it in to have charged and tested. If it will not charge up then you will need to replace the battery.
