1999 Volvo V70 Cross Country. Just had radiator replaced. Today, coolant light came on & when I checked expansion tank, it was empty, but there was no sign of any leaks. What would cause this? Air in the system?

Most likely it was an air pocket in the system. Top it off
and drive it a couple of miles and recheck coolant. If you are still loosing coolant, take it back to have it checked out.
