1998 Volvo V70 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 135000 miles

I have an oily/grease sludge in my cooling system. There does not appear to be any coolant in the oil pan. Where is the sludge coming from?

The oil could be coming from an internal oil leak in the oil cooler attached to the oil pan. You need to replace the cooler and flush cooling system out and maybe replace the bottle as well.
