2003 Volvo V40 temp gauge eratic when engine cold

the above problem goes when engine is warm , the smooth running of the engine is also affected

Hi wilkinson,

I would suggest checking for loose or contaminated wire connections at the temperature sending unit. Sockets tends to get damaged over time.
