water (liquid) pours into the passenger side of the car when the AC is on. The AC still seems to work (cool) but I have stopped using it.

Never had any trouble until I last took it in for service and had some engine (revving) problems. they said something was worn out and had to replace it.

could this just be a hose that has been disconnected?

How often do you replace the cabin air filter? The evaporator drain hose could be plugged up but you can only access it from the inside of the car.
