Way to bypass the immobiliser?

Car won't start, picture of car with x over it comes on dashboard, and makes a buzzing sound for a few seconds, I think it's the immobiliser, is there a cheap fix, or a way to bypass the immobiliser, if not will have to scrap it, hope you can help thanks stewart.

Hello,

There is a way to reset the immobilizer if it is activated.
It can be reset by disconnecting the power to engine control module.
Look in the fuse block under the hood, it should have a fuse for the engine control module.
Unplug the fuse for a minimum of five minutes.
That should reset the immobilizer.
Connect the fuse back.
Should be able to start the engine.
