1998 Volvo V40 Front Wheel Drive Manual 1002 miles

my central locking wont lock drivers door with key or button no key fob but it will lock from inside if you hold down the door pin what could be the problem

Soundslike the door ock actutor is bad. Tofix you need to replace the door lock assembly.
