When i was driving my Instrument panel went out and then when I tap the top of the dashboard it came back and then I put my car in park and shut it off and then it doesn't come back. I have to tap the dashboard again. when it cames back on I get a srs airbag service urgent display on dash.

It seems like this problem is a hard fault and strongly encourage you to take it in to the dealership for proper diagnosis. When the cluster goes out they can see if the cluster is the one going offline in the network or another control module? The SRS light coming on is related due to the fault being in the low speed CANbus. You could also have a bad wiring harness where the CANbus wires could be going open circuited or shorting out? Eitherway this type of problem can be very hard to diagnose and could take days to figure out?
