The stc service light came on?

...my s80 2000 volvo stc service light came on. how can i fix this problem ?...and what it cause that problem

Hello,

The service light is designed to come on at every 7,500 miles (12,000 km) intervals or after 750 hour of driving or after 12 months. Whichever occurs first.
It is a reminder to do oil changes and other factory recommended services for that given mileage.

This light has to be reset. Without the reset it will stay on.
