I took my car in to get inspected and of course since the passenger airbag light is on it would not pass. The mechanic said to reset the sensor. He was unable to do it. He said it may be in the manual. Is this something I am able to do easly or do I need to take in, and if so how much are we looking at costing?

What could do you actually have stored in the srs control unit. Also if the light comes on you just cant reset the light just like that? If the light is on it is because there is a problem with a particular air bag module, a fault in the circuit or a bad control unit? So no there will not be anything in a mnauel that tells you how to reset the light unless you fix the fault first.
