This type of repair is not for the do it yourself. You need to get some lifting beams to hold the engine and transmission in place to remove the subframe. Then the transmission needs to be lowered just enough to be able to remove the side cover. At this point it would just be easier just to remove the transmission out the car for this. Once the side cover is out the transmission pump needs to be removed to have access to the locking clip. Once you have replaced the solenoid and put everything back together, you will need to go into the transmission control module settings to reset the oil counter and reset the adaptations for the transmission and do a relearn drive or this thing is going to be jerking all over the place. To be honest, if you are close to 100k miles or over, then you are better off replacing the transmission. Usually if the solenoid is jamming it is because it has gotten clutch debri. So it is just a matter of time before the transmission fails on you.
