2000 Volvo S70 shifting

Transmission shift light is blinking, will not shift from lower gear to drive, will shift into REV and Park. Check eng. Light is also on

Your vehicle is now in "Limp Home Mode" to prevent any more damage to the vehicle. You need to have the transmission control module scanned for codes and diagnosed to see where the fault is. The check engine light will be related to the arrow light and if scanned would only indicate that there is a fault detected in the transmssion control module. Tying to reset only the check engine light would only make it come back on again because of the fault in the transmission control module. Take it in to a shop that is capable of diagnosing transmission faults.
