2000 Volvo S70 Hard Starting

Computer problem
2000 Volvo S70 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 128000 miles

My problem is when I refuel my car it takes several times cranking the engine before it starts. It will spit and sputter for a time , less than a minute. After that it runs fine until next fill up. Check engine light is on. Auto Zone tech said code was for emisions system. Thanks for your help

Was he any more specific than just saying emission system? Did he mention the EVAP system? I'm wondering if something is plugged and forcing fuel into the engine when you refill.

yes he did say the evap system.

What you need to do is have the system fogged. Most likely, there is a leak in the system. WHen they fog the system, they will be able to identify where the leak is located. If you just look for it, you will go crazy trying to find it.
