The check engine lite is on. The ETS light is on sometimes and not sometimes. What concerns me is the up red arrow that comes on when you downshift the transmission is now continuously flashing.

The check engin light will most likely be related to the other lights. The ETS light is for a fault in the electronic throttle system and the flashing arrow is for a fault in the transmission control module. Like Docfixit mentioned, you would need to have all the control modules scanned for codes. If you have communication faults, first place you should look is the +30 cable. That cable is on top of the positive battery cable held in place by a 10mm. That cable goes into the relay box. If you open the box and look inside, you will see a 12 mm nut holding the other end. That spot gets full of corrosion and can effect the voltage suppy to the control units. If that is corroded, you need to replace it. Also the positive battery cable gets pretty corroded on the inside but you wont see that. Doing a voltage drop test you will see it so I would also suggest you replace that cable.
