1999 Volvo S70 rebuilt transmission

My mechanic installed a used transmission in my 1999 S70 GL Volvo. Now he can't get the transmission (blinking up arrow) to go off. Also the check engine light. He tried a new sensor but didn't work. Any answers here? Thanks, Ginny
