Transmission problem
1998 Volvo S70 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 130k miles

Inter-mitten problem. After driving my car and I place it in park, I turn the key to shut off the engine. Sometime when I try to pull out the key from the ignition it will not come out. On the forward side of the shifter there is a release button that sometime stays in when in park. Any Ideas what it could be or how to remedy this problem?
Thanks

You will need to replace the gear selector knob.
