Engine Mechanical problem
1998 Volvo S70 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic n/a miles

1. what is the proper tool to remove the fuel filter from its quick release fitting? what does it look like and how do i use it?

2. i actually broke that fitting off on the side that travels to the engine whats the best and most economic way of repairing? Is there a replacement fitting i can buy or do i have to replace the whole line?

Removing Fuel Filter Undo screw securing filter clip. Undo quick-release connectors from fuel filter. Use an 17 mm open spanner to push back sleeves. Undo screw securing filter clip. Replace filter. Reinstall components in reverse order. If you broke it then most likely you will need to replace the fuel line.
