Fuel pump strarts car, but stops after 3 seconds?

you saying the fuel pump stops 3 seconds after the key is turned or car starts, runs for 3 seconds and shuts off?

any check engine light?

fuel pump should run for about 3 seconds then turn off untill vehicle is restarted.
