Volvo S60 2.4T Transmission (2001)

The transmission warning light came on in my 2001 S60 2.4T with a Tiptronic transmission. Mileage 138K. It occasionally goes off. Sometimes the shifting after a stop is a little rough, but that's all I notice. Any ideas on the problem or what I need to do?

I own the same car with 93000 miles. I'm having pretty much the same problem. I was wandering if you ever found the solution?

You are going to need a rebuild or a new transmission. You can try a software upgrade at your local dealer first but if that doesn't fix it thats what you'll need.
