Volvo S40 Brake light problem

Hi,

I have Volvo S40, 1997, 1.8i engine and 73000 miles. It hasn't any problem until now. But nearly two weeks now the back right side brake light some times working some times doesn't. I don't know why. Could you help me please. what is problem? How can I fix it?

Check the socket where the bulb fit in also makes sure you are using the correct bulb
