I am certain that the following may be puzzling
I took delivery of my car in April 2007.
At 11000 miles ,whilst turning in first gear into my street the clutch shattered into pieces . This happened on the 18th February 2008.
Under warranty the dealer replaced the clutch .
Well another 11000 miles and on the same date 18th February 2009 the clutch shattered again . This time I was moving at around 50 mph .
Though the car was stlll under warranty Volvo refused to do anything about it . I had to pay for a new clutch .
This is something that in 40 years of driving I have never encountered .

Why did Volvo make you buy a new clutch? Maybe you should look into the lemon law for the repeated clutch failure?
