Is this turbo or none turbo? And why is it you want to remove the intake manifold?

I wanted info on removing the fresh air intake housing because I needed to remove the oil filter housing for suspected blockage. Problem solved - it turned out to be a cracked hose, all better now, thanks.

I had a feeling you were going in that direction? The oil trap box and hose could have being covered by an extended emissions warranty of 10 years/150k miles? It should be on your owners manuel but you can verify it by calling Volvo and givng them the vin#?
