My car has a turbo engine. Normally when I accellerate it has a little whistle sound, and changes gears around 3000 rpm. Right now the car will not shift gears until about 5000 rpm and that same whistle sound is really loud. The Check Engine light came on. The car will putter, and it just shut down one time. I turned it off then turned it back on and was able to drive/coast under 1/2 a mile. Will you tell me what is going on please.....
