Computer problem
2004 Volvo S40 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 26000 miles

After a week's holiday when my car was not used, I tried to start the car on my return. It would not start and I thought the battery was flat so recharged it. I star Since then the car has failed tostart and the ted the car after about an hour and a half and left it run for about 10 minutes. It just cut out. I charged the battery again and this time thought it better to take the car for a run. After only 50 metres the car suddenly lost power and the power steering failed making it very difficult to manoeuvre. I managed to get the car in reverse and park it before it cut out. I tried to restart it but the whole dashboard lit up with warning lights. Can you suggest what has happened. The car will not now start at all and will have to be towed to a garage. Many thanks
