2000 Volvo S40 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i just replaced my head gasket,know i am trying to set my timing is there any markings on the cams or any were to set the timing?how is the timing set?????

If you removed the cvvt hub on the exhaust cam then you will need the cam locking tool to set it up. Attaching the timing marks and where the tensioner needs to be set up.

thank you for your input it was very helpful.do you happen to know the torque specs on the headbolts and the valve cover bolts.thanks again.

Make sure you are using new headbolts and you oil the bolts so that they dont bind up. first step 20Nm seconde step 60Nm and finally 3rd step angle torque to 130 degrees.
