1967 Other Volvo Models No spark from the spark plug wire

The coil seems to check out OK
We put on a new condenser
There is spark between the points when the engine
turns over. BUT NO SPARK FROM THE PLUG WIRES.

tHE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN STARTED FOR OVER 15 YEARS. A teen-age boy with little money is trying to get it started.

Pull coil wire from DIST. hold 1/4 " from block crank spark?
