2001 Volvo C70 eletrical problems

I recently try myself to change my head light bulbs, but when i drove my car and tryed using my turn signals and or my high beams they did not work so i went to check the fuses and it was the fuse, but when i replaced the fuse it poped. I tryed replacing the fuse a few more times and the same thing kept happening. so i figure its a short i must have caused when i changed my light bulbs. is there anything i can do to fix the problem or what shall i do? I would very much appreciate anyones insight on this matter.
