1996 Volvo 960 Missfire

This 2.5 lt 24 valve, Volvo miss fires at idle (>1000RPM) All systems check out okay. ECU returned as "no problem found"
Dealer checked vehicle without success, including intakes manifold and electronics. No fault codes exist.
It is possibly miss firing at higher RPM, but doesn't appear to have loss of performance, or fuel penalty.
Suggestions please.

Misfire is monitored by the ECU and misfire will cause a check engine light on and will store a code in
if you don't have any then look for other causes that is causing the unstable idle for you
check motor & tranny mounts
