Noises problem
1992 Volvo 960 6 cyl Automatic 200K miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
High pitch metallic (like a high-speed grinder)noise(s) eminating from either front left wheel or possible engine? Seems to dissipate slightly when gas pedal is pressed; but has become more constant now. Is this a tie-bar (?) issue or more serious? Brakes repaired in 2005; should they be checked again?

any sign of wear in the front end?

does noise stop when braking/

slow speed, fast speed?
