Replaced the fuel filter. In doing so a wire came off the fuel pump, it has been put back on. But now the car won't start. Just grinds like it wants to, but nothing happens. Have checked both # 1 and 11 fuses, no problem there. What else could it be?

Make sure wire terminal is secured in connector and verify that you did not bend a pin when you reinstalled it.

you might want to check your crankshaft positioning sensor also. It is located below the distributor bolted to the top of the tranny housing by a 10mm bolt and the cable runs up the fire wall. A real easy fix.
