If timing belt strips will it bend the valves? Also, do you have a diagram of timing belt for 1997 Volvo 850?

If your engine is an intereference engine (which I believe it is in the 850) then it is possible that slipping of the timing belt can cause damage to the valves and related components.

Need instructions on replacement? Just ask and you shall receive.
