1997 Volvo 850 Automatic 170000 miles

i have a 1997 volvo 850 t5 with a 2.3 l engine and the speedometer stopped working all of a sudden. my abs light has been on for over a year and since then my odometer stopped and now my speedometer. what could be the solution to fixing the speedometer only. thanks

Hi ortiz1012,

To get the speedometer, most probably you need to replace the speed sensor.

Get a scan done to see if there is any DTC stored in memory.
