TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHY IT BROKE. IDLE PULLEY, TENSIONER PULLEY, AND POWER STEERING PULLEYS MOVE. THERE ARE 2 PULLEYS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE ENGINE CAN YOU MOVE THEM BY HAND OR DO THEY ONLY MOVE WHEN ENGINE IS RUNNING? HOW CAN I DETERMINE WHICH PULLEY IS MAKING THE BELT BREAK? I WAS TOLD BY A FRIEND THAT IT'S POSSIBLE THE ALTENATOR BUT THAT PULLEY IS ALSO MOVING. BUT WHEN IT WAS RUNNING WITH THE BELT ON IT HAD AN ELECTRIC STINK TO IT. COULD YOU HELP ME?

Hi robb5170,

Only the crankshaft pulley runs with the engine, it is the driving pulley and all others are driven pulley which turn freely.
