1995 Volvo 850 What is wrong with my car?

Engine Performance problem
1995 Volvo 850 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 160K miles

I start it up and it just goes eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh, but does not start. I am a substitute teacher with 4 kids (single) & need to know how to start it, please help.

Your fuel pump may be failing. Have some one bang on the bottom of the fuel tank while you crank it. Use something heavy but not sharp. Dont damage the tank, just firm taps.

Car has no spark but power to coil. Cleaned all electrical connections. Still no spark.

No spark from any spark plug wire while having power to the coil narrows it down to a coil or distributor issue. A spark plug test light could help in confirming a failure at all cylinders as well as loss of output from the coil wire. If this is the case a coil replacement would be the next logical step.
