I have been noticing a drop in acceleration in my 850 Turbo 5 cyl. (1995). Yesterday when driving it after getting some work done on the timing belt, water pump, serpentine belt and seals I placed the acceleration down to pass a car. The car became very sluggish and the revs would go up and back down while not having the same burst of energy as before. I initially thought of bad gas, but I have not had bad gas from the station I use before. Then started thinking of fuel filter, but now am wonder if the problem could be transmission related. I do not want to spend any more money on the car as I am needing to get rid of it at its age. If it is a fuel filter or even a fuel pump, then I probably will fix it. What do you think?
