I have a seal replacement kit that contains two round gaskets that replace obvious exisiting ones. I can't get the pin out of the shaft and don't know where the final seal goes. Does it go on the shaft? Do I need to remove the pin?

From what I found the pin has to be driven out and it can be difficult at times. Also the housing is a cast aluminum that can break very easily.HEre is a link where you can read up alittle more volvoclub.org.uk/faq/ElectricalIgnition.html
