Having considerable diffuculty finding how seat tracks can be replaced or modified to allow more rearward extension of seat - giving my 6'5" frame the comfort and safety increased leg-room would afford. Your help would be most appreciated. Would a Factory Repair manual have schematics of the seat track mounting and or suggestions for us "long-leggers"?

Hoping for help... rpablito

Hi there,

I would think that any modification to the seat track's would be difficult you may be able to re mount the seat further back , but the floor pan design may not allow this, also doing modifications can affect your insurance and the equivalent of a Road worthy certificate in you local area. I would check with a panel shop first.
