I just purchased this Volvo and it ran for 4 days, slow to start but on day 5 it began to break down, first the battery and then the belts needed tightening. Finally it broke down and required towing and the diagnostic reveals it needs the fuel pump and fuel filter replaced with great concern about the fuel lines without the fuel lines we are being quoted a price of $950, is this a fair price?
We tried to return the car to previous owner or at least get compensation for half the repairs with little success, we are also 1000 miles from home helping my daughter with chemo for leukemia, any ideas or help is appreciated.
Thanks

My advise is get out of there don't make no deals that's way too much almost triple in cost/labor, its a rip off- Fuel pump-$211.00 1 1/2 hr labor Fuel filter-$22.00 and 1 hr of labor
