1990 Volvo 740 Car won't turn over!

Haven't had an oil change in a while, but was told that wasn't the problem.
Car seemed to be low on gas, and gas pump was acting funny. Suddenly, it wouldn't turn over. We pushed it to a gas station and I put in half a tank, and now it still won't turn over. The engine has a lot of miles on it but this has never happened before. I know it's not the battery, it starts to turn over just fine. It just won't do that final step.

Any answers for me?

Check the fuel pressure if it's within specs to rule out the fuel filter and fuel pump.Are you getting spark?
