Firstly, the car has difficulty starting. it generally takes 3 tries and fidgetting with the brakes as I am pressing on the key. It revs up and settles at 400 or 500 RPMs and idles at this.
The main problem is that whenever you try to accelerate the car from a stopped position, it does this jerking thing that after a few jerks it accelerates fine. This obviously poses a huge problem at every stop sign and every traffic light.
What I have noticed after taking it to one mechanic is that for a few days after he "fixed" it, the car was running well and would idle at 1000 RPMs. After we took it to him a second time, the car would run well for the first couple minutes until the engine heated up, and then it goes back to how it was.
